Round three of donuts and this one is the winner. I finally found a healthy glaze recipe that has no added sugar and is delicious. If you do not have a donut mold, don't sweat it. Use a muffin tin instead and make muffins!! Gluten-Free!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups almond flour
- 3 eggs
- 2 mashed bananas
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp sea salt
Berry glaze:
- handful of raspberries
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt (you can sub with plant-based yogurt to make recipe dairy-free/vegan)
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Preheat oven to 350. Mix all of the ingredients for the donuts in a large bowl. Add the mixture to a donut mold and bake for at least 20 minutes. While the donuts are baking, in a blender mix the rasberries, greek yogurt, melted coconut oil, and maple syrup. Wait for the donuts to cool and with a spoon, pour glaze on top. Optional: sprinkle cinnamon on top of the glaze for some extra flavor :) V
