The perfect amount of flavor and spice, these patties are going to make you want to go vegan!! (kidding lol)
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas
- half onion, diced
- half cup gluten free oats
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 small zucchini, grated
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp hot sauce
- 2 tsp garlic
First rinse, drain, and dry the chickpeas. With a paper towel, roll the chickpeas to remove the skin. Blend in a food processor/blender and set aside in a bowl. Next blend the oats in the food processor and add to the bowl. Then grate the zucchini and pat dry. Add the rest of the ingredients into the bowl with the oats and chickpeas and mix. Using your hands, make patties (makes about 6). On medium heat, spray a nonstick pan with avocado oil and place the patties. Cook on each side for 5 minutes and voila!! SO good and great for your #meatless monday.
