Was anyone else aware that the rat's name in the iconic animated disney movie is NOT Ratatouille? The more you know. Anyways, I've had this recipe on the bucket list for months and finally, with the help of of my SIL, finally chefed it up.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 eggplants
- 2 zucchinis
- 2 yellow squash
- 4 tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Preheat oven to 375. In an oven safe circular dish, spread the tomato sauce on the bottom. Then, thinly slice all of your vegetables and layer them throughout the dish (as seen in picture). Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cover the dish with parchment paper and leave in the oven for 1 hour. Voila!! Ratatouille :)
1 tza de salsa de tomate
2 berenjenas
2 zucchinis
2 zapallitos verdes o amarillos
4 tomates
1/2 cdta de sal
1/2 cdta de pimienta
1/2 cdta de ajo en polvo
Calentá el horno a 200C. En una Pyrex redonda para horno colocá la salsa de tomate. A continuación poné en capas las verduras cortadas en rebanadas bien finitas (como aparece en la foto). Agregale un chorrito de oliva y la sal, pimienta y ajo en polvo. Cubrí la fuente con papel aluminio o papel de manteca. Cocínalo durante una hora. Listo!!!
